Service Unitसेवा इकाई

Service unit is an important section of the institute. It comprises of four main sub-sections namely electrical, carpentry, plumbing and fabrication.सेवा इकाई संस्थान का एक महत्वपूर्ण अनुभाग है। इसमें चार मुख्य उप-अनुभाग शामिल हैं, अर्थात् विद्युत, बढ़ईगीरी (कारपेंट्री), नलसाजी (प्लंबिंग) एवं फैब्रिकेशन।

Key Functionsप्रमुख कार्य

The main aim of service unit is to develop the civil and electrical infrastructures in the institute, and take care of their regular repair and maintenance. Water supply, water distribution, and cleaning of institute premises are done on daily basis by the unit. Service unit also assists in the fabrication of tools and machines under the research activities of the institute. The main functions of service unit are listed below.सेवा इकाई का मुख्य उद्देश्य संस्थान में सिविल एवं विद्युत अवसंरचना का विकास करना तथा उनकी नियमित मरम्मत एवं अनुरक्षण सुनिश्चित करना है। जल सप्लाई, जल वितरण एवं संस्थान परिसर की सफाई इकाई द्वारा दैनिक आधार पर की जाती है। सेवा इकाई संस्थान की अनुसंधान गतिविधियों के अंतर्गत उपकरणों एवं मशीनों के फैब्रिकेशन में भी सहायता करती है। सेवा इकाई के मुख्य कार्य नीचे सूचीबद्ध हैं।

• Assistance in engineering research works, especially in the fabrication of tools and machines.इंजीनियरिंग अनुसंधान कार्यों में सहायता, विशेष रूप से उपकरणों एवं मशीनों के फैब्रिकेशन में।
• Planning and supervision of infrastructure developmental works in the institute.संस्थान में अवसंरचना विकास कार्यों की योजना एवं पर्यवेक्षण।
• Electric power supply to institute buildings, roads and premises.संस्थान की इमारतों, सड़कों एवं परिसर को विद्युत आपूर्ति।
• Electrical maintenance of office buildings and residential quarters.कार्यालय भवनों एवं आवासीय परिसरों का विद्युत अनुरक्षण।
• Maintenance of overhead electrical lines, electrical tubular poles, transformer, operating panel, feeder panels, DG sets, street lights and solar street lights.ओवरहेड विद्युत लाइनों, विद्युत ट्यूबलर पोल, ट्रांसफार्मर, ऑपरेटिंग पैनल, फीडर पैनल, डीजी सेट, स्ट्रीट लाइट एवं सोलर स्ट्रीट लाइट का अनुरक्षण।
• Water supply to office buildings and residential quarters.कार्यालय भवनों एवं आवासीय परिसरों को जल आपूर्ति।
• Maintenance of water supply infrastructure i.e. water pumps, water pipe lines and water tanks of office buildings and residential quarters.कार्यालय भवनों एवं आवासीय परिसरों के जल पंप, जल पाइपलाइनों एवं जल टंकियों सहित जल आपूर्ति अवसंरचना का अनुरक्षण।
• Maintenance of civil infrastructure that includes office buildings, residential quarters, roads, parking sheds etc.कार्यालय भवनों, आवासीय परिसरों, सड़कों, पार्किंग शेड आदि सहित सिविल अवसंरचना का अनुरक्षण।
• Management of general maintenance and upkeep of institute premises.संस्थान परिसर के सामान्य अनुरक्षण एवं रख-रखाव का प्रबंधन।
• Cleaning of the institute buildings, premises and roads.संस्थान की इमारतों, परिसर एवं सड़कों की सफाई।
